NHS England have formally announced the imminent introduction of the Friends and Family Test into General Practice as a contractual obligation as from December 2014 This came as no surprise for most of us following the initial implementation into hospital departments, A&E and maternity wards in early 2013.
Would you recommend us to your friends and family?
The Friends and Family Test
We are dedicated to patient care and improving our service. We would like to hear your feedback about your experience. We will contact you shortly via telephone to discuss your patient experience.
How does this involve you the patient
As from December 2014 the practice or service we engaged will contact patients who have attended the surgery to ask them a couple of questions so the practice can then submit data to NHS England on a monthly basis.
Every patient is to be provided with the opportunity to respond to
Friends and Family Test.
One question will always be:
How likely are you to recommend our practice to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?
We will be in touch shortly to talk about your experience with us today as from December 2014 or alternatively please complete the questionnaire on the website
Do you have to respond to the question?
Your answer is voluntary. But if you do answer, your feedback will provide valuable information for your GP Surgery to celebrate good practice, and identify opportunities to make improvements.
Your answer will not be traced back to you, and your details will not be passed on to anyone. A member of your family or a friend is welcome to answer the question if you are unable to.
